Our Eye Doctor
Dr. Judy Myers
Dr. Judy Myers, from the vibrant suburb of Benbrook, TX, brings over 13 years of exceptional expertise to the field of eye care. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Texas at Arlington, achieved in May 2005, followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree from NOVA Southeastern University in May 2011.
Dr. Myers deepened her expertise through a residency at the Jonathan Wainwright Memorial VAMC and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Walla Walla, WA, specializing in ocular disease and surgical co-management. She further demonstrated her commitment to advancing her skills by completing the Advanced Competency of Medical Optometry (ACMO) exam.
For Dr. Myers, being an eye care professional is more than a profession; it’s a calling to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through optimal vision care. She is exceptionally skilled in ocular disease and low vision care, showcasing her dedication to tackling complex eye health issues. Beyond her practice, Dr. Myers is actively involved in community health fairs in Tarrant County, providing essential eye care services to the less fortunate, reflecting her commitment to community service.
Her extensive experience, spanning over a decade in a multidisciplinary ophthalmology group, has endowed her with the confidence and skills necessary to diagnose and manage challenging cases in collaboration with talented surgeons. This experience has been invaluable in shaping her as a well-rounded eye care professional.
In her personal life, Dr. Myers is a music enthusiast who enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks, embracing a lifelong love for learning. She and her husband are deeply involved in their church community, an aspect of her life that brings her immense fulfillment and perspective. Adding to her life’s joy is Calli, her 8-year-old miniature Australian shepherd, a beloved family member.
Our Staff
Patricia Salas, fondly known as Patty, brings warmth and expertise to her role as Optician Front Office. With a passion for helping patients find the perfect frames, Patty enjoys witnessing their satisfaction.
Since joining our team, she has felt right at home, surrounded by a supportive and welcoming environment. Outside work, Patty enjoys quality time with her loved ones, indulging in karaoke nights, and bonding with her family and friends.
Summer Smith brings a wealth of experience in healthcare to her role as Optical Technician at Texas Family Vision Center. With a background in the medical field, she finds particular fulfillment in contributing to our patients' visual well-being.
At Texas Family Vision Center, Summer is an invaluable team member, embodying compassion both inside and outside the office. When she's not assisting patients, Summer enjoys nurturing her garden, walking in nature, and spending quality time with her family and pets.
As our diligent Office Manager, Cindy Sanders utilizes her extensive customer service expertise to ensure seamless operations at Texas Family Vision Center. Passionate about assisting people with their vision needs, Cindy feels blessed to work alongside her daughter, Dr. Myers, and the rest of our team.
Outside of work, she finds solace in the countryside, tending to her horses and cherishing the tranquility of nature.
